Three differences. First, hands-on testing: every tool listed has been used in a real workflow before publishing, while Futurepedia and There's An AI For That aggregate vendor descriptions without testing. Second, verdicts: every tool gets an honest rating with stated reasoning. Third, vendor stability tracking: we flag tools whose vendors have stopped shipping updates or fail support-response tests. The trade-off is a smaller catalog, 66 written reviews out of 500+ tools tested rather than thousands of untouched listings, but every one is something someone actually used.
