What Data Innovation Summit is
Data Innovation Summit is run by Hyperight at Kistamässan in Stockholm. The organiser describes it as the largest annual applied data, analytics and AI event in the Nordics, and this is its 12th edition. Its own figures are more than 350 Nordic and international speakers spread across fifteen stages, seven workshop rooms and an exhibition area.
The organiser lists these topics: applied AI, agentic and generative AI, analytics and business intelligence, data engineering and architecture, data management, machine learning, AI security and AI adoption. Stage names on the page include Data Engineering and DataOps, Data Platform and Architecture, Data Strategy and Governance, Analytics and Decision Intelligence, AI Strategy and Governance, and AI Infrastructure and Operations.
The programme runs in two parts: Foundation Days on 18 and 19 May, and an Industry Day on 20 May with sector stages. The page also lists TIP sessions, an awards ceremony and a networking party. Its intro cites 300+ TIP sessions while its at-a-glance panel says 200+, and it lists a masterclass, a hackathon and a run on dates outside 18-20 May, so check the agenda for the exact session count and add-on dates.
I did not attend a previous edition, and I have not seen the full agenda. Everything here comes from the organiser’s own site, read on 2026-10-30.
Who should go
It is a fit if you work on data platforms, analytics, AI infrastructure or AI strategy and want a wide Nordic programme in one place. It is a weaker fit if you want a single-track research conference, since the summit spreads its content across many parallel stages.
How to take part
The official site offers ticket purchase, an application to speak and sponsorship. Confirm the dates and venue on datainnovationsummit.com before you book travel, because event details can change.
