Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on zPlatform.ai are affiliate links. If you click one and end up buying or signing up, the merchant pays us a small commission at no additional cost to you. This page explains how that works, what it does and does not affect, and how you can verify it yourself.
How affiliate links work
When you click an outbound link to a SaaS or AI tool from zPlatform.ai, we may pass a tracking parameter that identifies us as the referring site. If you sign up or buy within the merchant's cookie window, we earn a commission. The price you pay is identical to the price you would pay clicking from anywhere else - we do not get special pricing and you do not get charged extra.
What affiliate revenue does NOT influence
- It does not buy a Buy verdict. Every Buy / Wait / Skip verdict on zPlatform.ai is decided after I personally test the tool. A higher commission rate does not move a tool from Wait to Buy.
- It does not buy list position. "Best of" lists are ordered by my actual testing notes, not by which tool pays more.
- It does not silence Skip verdicts. If a tool has a problem, I publish the problem - even if it kills my commission from that tool.
- It does not gate reviews. Tools we have no affiliate relationship with still get reviewed when they are relevant to readers.
What affiliate revenue DOES fund
- Tool subscriptions for testing. Most reviews require an actual paid plan to evaluate. Affiliate revenue covers those subscriptions so we can keep testing.
- Hosting and infrastructure. Cloudflare Pages, image proxies, and the deal-tracking pipeline.
- Editorial time. Side-by-side comparisons, screenshot capture, and verdict drafting take real hours.
How to verify our independence
- Cross-check our Buy verdicts against G2, Capterra, and Reddit threads in the same niche. If we are pushing a low-rated tool, you will see it.
- Read our Skip verdicts. A site that's purely affiliate-driven will almost never publish "do not buy this." We do.
- Check the about page for verifiable credentials (BCS membership, MSc Distinction, DMASL, 18 named professional certifications).
- Read reader feedback - 100+ verbatim testimonials from named founders, marketers, and community members about working with us directly.
FTC compliance
In line with U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidelines, this page and the site footer disclose our material connection to merchants whose products we may earn commissions on. International readers in jurisdictions with similar rules (UK CAP Code, EU consumer protection directives, etc.) are covered by the same disclosure.
Specific affiliate relationships - including networks and merchants - are noted at the page level where applicable. Where a tool is not an affiliate partner, we say so. Where a tool is a sponsor, we label it as a sponsorship clearly and visibly. We do not run "advertorials" disguised as editorial reviews.
How to opt out of affiliate tracking
If you would prefer not to use our affiliate link, simply type the merchant's URL directly in your browser, or right-click on the link and copy the destination URL with the affiliate parameter removed. The product, price, and your experience will be identical. We will lose the commission, but the editorial coverage stays the same.
Questions or corrections
If something looks off - a missing disclosure, an outdated commission rate, or a link that isn't behaving the way it should - email [email protected] and we will fix it.
