What DeAI Summit is
DeAI Summit describes itself as an international gathering for the people building, researching, securing, governing and investing in AI. The Malta Edition runs for two days in Valletta and is built around research presentations, keynotes, panels, fireside conversations and networking.
The organiser frames the programme around who builds AI, who controls it and who benefits from it. Expect topics such as infrastructure, enterprise adoption, security, accountability, regulation and capital, with decentralised systems as part of the mix.

Who is speaking
The speakers page lists names from startups, universities and industry bodies, including Dr. Gege Gatt of Ebo.AI, Prof. Alexiei Dingli and Prof. Andre Xuereb of the University of Malta, Tricia Wang of the Advanced AI Society, and Giannis Rousopoulos of the MPC Alliance. Who should go
It is a fit if you work on AI infrastructure, enterprise deployment, AI risk or regulation, or you are raising or deploying capital in the space. It is a weaker fit if you want hands-on workshops, since the programme is described as debate and networking.
