It is an academic-and-industry conference covering artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data and data science applications (checked 2026-10-27, datascience.averconferences.com). The organiser’s homepage calls this the 3rd edition, following a Dubai edition.
zPlatform is an official media partner of this event, and no organiser paid for this listing. I run ZPlatform’s AI events hub, so I read the organiser’s own pages before writing anything here. Note that this is a different kind of event from the Munich developer conferences on the hub: it is a paper-presentation conference run by Aver Conferences, with oral and poster sessions, rather than a practitioner-engineering event.
What ICADS is
The organiser describes it as gathering researchers, academics, industry experts and students to present recent work in AI, machine learning and data science. The programme combines keynotes, oral and poster sessions, panels, exhibitions and workshops. It lists its target audience as data scientists and ML engineers, analytics leaders, academics and students, AI strategists and ethicists, startup founders and domain experts in areas such as health and finance.
The organiser’s own scale figures are 300-plus attendees, 80-plus speakers, three-plus workshops, three-plus panel discussions and 10-plus sponsors. These are claims from the organiser, not figures I have verified.
Venue and logistics
The conference venue is the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, 75 Airport Boulevard, Singapore 819664, linked directly to Changi Airport Terminal 3. That makes it an easy trip for international attendees, since you can walk from arrivals to the hotel. The organiser also offers official invitation letters to registered participants for visa applications.
Workshops
Two practical workshops are listed, both at the Crowne Plaza. “Does It Actually Work?” is a half-day, 3.5 hour hands-on lab on evaluating, red-teaming and governing AI agents before production. “When Should Your AI Say No?” is a three-hour, no-coding workshop on deciding what an AI agent should do on its own and designing the point where it hands control back to a human. The organiser’s promotions place the workshop on April 10.

My go-or-skip framing
Go if you are a researcher with work to present, or an applied data or AI practitioner who values the academic format and wants a Singapore trip tied to it. The Speaker edition is the cheapest way in if you have an accepted abstract.
Be realistic about what it is. It is a commercial conference series with a high volume of tracks (the organiser lists 70-plus), so check the programme and speaker list on its site before committing, and weigh it against the established research events in ZPlatform’s AI events hub. If you want engineering depth on shipping products, the Munich developer conferences are a better fit.
Common questions
Which edition of the conference is ICADS 2027?
The organiser’s homepage titles it the 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. It also notes a Dubai edition before it.
Can I submit a paper to ICADS 2027?
Yes. The organiser runs a call for abstracts, with a submission deadline of December 14, 2026.
Is there a virtual option?
The organiser’s pages I read describe an in-person event in Singapore and do not advertise a virtual ticket. Confirm with the organiser if you need one.
