AI & CX Summit 2026, the Conversational AI & Customer Experience Summit (CACES) Indonesia Edition, wrapped July 15, 2026 at the JS Luwansa Hotel in Jakarta as a single-day CX and conversational AI conference. The room drew senior practitioners from Bank Mandiri, Trans Retail, Ninja Van, Telin, BCA Life, and FWD. Tickets sat at $199 early bird and $299 standard (checked 2026-08-24, conversationaltechsummitasia.com/ticketsid). ZPlatform was an official media partner.

Disclosure: ZPlatform was a media partner for CACES Indonesia 2026. Partnership does not soften my read on who should attend the 2027 edition, which is what most of this guide is now about.

Why CACES sits on my calendar

I track conversational AI events because the deployment case studies that surface on these stages become the tool categories I review 6 to 12 months later. Most “summits” in the CX space are vendor expos with keynote-shaped ads. CACES Indonesia earned its place on my list because the buyer-side roster (banks, telcos, insurers) speaks first and the vendors speak second. The 2026 edition was the third annual Indonesia outing and the pattern held.

What actually landed at CACES Indonesia 2026

The 2026 agenda was built around ten discussion areas that a working CX leader can map to a real roadmap. The four themes that dominated hallway conversation, from what I gathered from partners and post-event follow-up:

  • Scaling support with AI without breaking CSAT. Multiple banking and telco sessions showed automation cutting handle time while quality metrics held or improved.
  • Multichannel consistency. Web, app, WhatsApp, voice. The panels kept returning to the same problem: buyers accept AI when the answer is the same across every channel.
  • Regulatory readiness. Data privacy and disclosure requirements are tightening across SEA. Compliance sessions drew unexpected crowd size.
  • ROI beyond deflection. CSAT-normalized deflection and revenue-per-conversation replaced the old raw-deflection scoreboard as the metric worth reporting to a board.

Beyond those four, the topic list went granular: LLM-backed conversational banking, fraud detection, sentiment and intent analysis, conversational commerce, digital humans, and contact-center automation. Nothing was hand-waved. Every theme mapped to a named deployment.

Speakers who mattered on the buyer side

The 2026 lineup leaned on practitioners from major Indonesian and regional brands, not keynote celebrities, which fit the working-summit format. Named speakers confirmed on the official site included Adjie Wicaksana (Chief Innovation Officer), Cahyadi Poernomo (Director and Chief Customer Management Officer), Rajesh Grover (Group Chief Digital Officer and Head of AI), Karin Zulkarnean (Chief Customer and Marketing Officer), Grace Vita (former CXO, Mandaya Hospital Group), Agalliso Mario Raintung (Head of Customer Experience), Dr. Kartina Sury (Senior Fellow), Edy Susanto (Director of IT), and Danu Prasetyo (Head of Loyalty and CRM). The full roster ran past 20.

The consistent thread was seniority on the buyer side. These are the people who sign off on conversational AI projects, which is exactly who you want in a room if you sell into that market or run the same job elsewhere in SEA.

Ticket math for a one-day summit

CACES Indonesia 2026 pricing sat well below what global AI summits charge, which is the point. Here is the pricing as posted through the event window (checked 2026-08-24, conversationaltechsummitasia.com/ticketsid):

PassPriceIncludes
Early Bird$199Event access, exhibition floor, coffee breaks, lunch, certificate
Event Pass$299Same as early bird, at standard price
Exhibition Booth$2,9992 delegate passes, a 2x2m booth, dedicated webpage, delegate list access

The organizer also ran a 20% off promotion through the newsletter signup, and group and student rates were available by direct email. At $199, the ticket only needed to hand you one usable idea or one useful contact to pay for itself. For a working CX lead in Jakarta, that math cleared easily.

Who this event is built for (and who should skip)

You get real value out of CACES Indonesia if you own or influence CX and conversational AI decisions at an enterprise. That means CX and customer service leaders on quality and CSAT, digital transformation and innovation heads chasing cross-industry benchmarks, technology and CRM leaders evaluating or replacing a conversational AI platform, and solution providers and startups who need concentrated exposure to regional buyers.

Skip it if you are a total beginner looking for hands-on chatbot training. CACES is a strategy, networking, and case-study event for people already operating in CX, not a how-to bootcamp. If you are a solopreneur just starting, focused courses and the budget AI tools I recommend will move you further than a regional enterprise summit.

My honest take on whether the day paid off

For the right person, it did. One honest case study from a peer who already shipped conversational AI at a regional bank saves months of trial and error. One conversation with the right platform vendor cuts a procurement cycle in half. The density of senior Indonesian CX leaders in one venue is hard to replicate any other way locally, and the presenting partners (Sendbird, Kore.ai, CleverTap, Genesys, Proximus Global, Kapture CX, AiRudder) made the expo floor useful rather than decorative.

For the wrong person, one day at any summit is a day you do not get back. The rule I apply to any purchase held here: do not buy the access, buy the outcome. Name the outcome (a vendor shortlist, a benchmark, a hire, a partnership) before you register, and the low ticket price makes the math easy. Register to “see what is out there” and you spend a day feeling busy.

Prep for CACES 2027

The 2027 Indonesia edition follows the same one-day format, likely mid-year in Jakarta. Watch the official AI & CX Summit page for the date announcement and register during the early bird window. If you missed 2026, subscribe to the newsletter for the 20% off code before the first pricing tier opens.
